Major Depression Animation Viewing and Discussion

  • NAMI Rochester 320 N. Goodman Street Suite 102/103 Rochester, NY 14607 (map)

My name is Joanna Cox, I am a medical illustration graduate student at RIT, and I am doing my thesis work on major depressive disorder (MDD). My project involves the creation of artwork, so I am creating an animation describing MDD. My goal for this project is to help strengthen both public and patient understanding of MDD.

I am asking you, as members of the mental health community and the public, for your help!  I would greatly appreciate your opinions and feedback on my MDD animation. During our meeting, I will show you the animation I am creating, and invite your opinions on the speed of the animation, your understanding of the information, and other feedback you might have.

Refreshments will be provided!
